Visit!   A great idea is to have a family party or a family reunion. Have a family picnic, brunch, or barbeque with Mom as the guest of honor.  For most Moms, the best ideas involve spending time with them.

 Give her the royal treatment.  Make her Queen for a Day!  Let her sleep in.  Give her a day off.  Start with breakfast in bed.  Then sit her on the couch with her favorite magazines, a cup of tea, and chocolates.  Give her presents- flowers, perfume, jewelry.  Don't let her lift a finger all day- you do all the work!  While she's soaking in a luxurious bubble bath, vacuum, clean and dust the house, or wash her car.  Cook a delicious dinner, or take her out to a lovely restaurant.

Tuck a hand-written letter inside a card.  Tell her, in your own words, how much you love her and appreciate her.  Thank her for all she has done for you, and tell her how special she is.  Add some beautiful Mother's Day love quotes.

Invite her over for a Tea Party. Serve tea, scones, light sandwiches and special desserts.  Use your best china and silver, have a flower centerpiece, play classical music, and light some candles for atmosphere. 

Get out photo albums.  Share memories, laugh, and enjoy your time together.

Go for a spring walk together in a park. 

Go shopping together and treat her to lunch. 

Have a family card party. Serve her favorite snacks and drinks, and play her favorite music in the background.

Make a coupon book.  Offer to help with chores or projects, she needs done. Include a few  "hug" coupons!
