TURKEY
POEMS
Here's
to the Turkey
Here's
to the good old turkey,
The bird that comes each fall,
And with his sweet persuasive meat
Makes gobblers of us all!
The
Turkey Is a Funny Bird
A
turkey is a funny bird,
It's head goes wobble, wobble,
All it knows is just one word,
Gobble, gobble, gobble!
My Turkey
I have
a turkey big and fat, (spread arms out)
He spreads his wings (fan hands at hips)
And walks like that (strut)
His daily corn he would not miss (rub tummy)
And when he talks, he sounds like this...
(GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE!!)
Five
Turkeys in a Tree
Five
fat turkeys are we.
We slept all night in a tree.
When the cook came around,
We couldn't be found
That's why we're here, you see!
Gobble,
Gobble, Gobble
When
the turkey gobbles, gobbles,
It is plump and proud and perky.
When our family gobbles, gobbles,
We are gobbling down the turkey.
HAPPY
TURKEY DAY!!!
