I live in Australia in a small country town so this is about an Aussie Outback Christmas.
On Christmas eve
Its 30 Degrees
And wether its hot
or not,
Its time to go to sleep,
So we can see our presents under the Christmas tree in a big heap.
The Crowing of a rooster awakens those not awake
We scramble into the living room,
And there to our surprise, we see our stockings Filled to the top
Its hard to believe unless you see it with your own eyes.
At ten oclock,
we hear a knock knock knock,
and then followed by a bark bark bark of our dogs who haven't yet to rise.
We open the door and to our surprise, we see our family. Lots more hugs and kisses follow.
For lunch the easiest thing is an Aussie Barbecue
Finally the dogs come to greet us just on time and cue, for some sausages and steak. Personally, i think the Aussie outback is great.

christmas is the presents on christmas morning,
christmas is the eating of roast dinner,
christmas is the falling asleep in the afternoon,
christmas is the last day of school,
christmas is the eve, when you can't get to sleep,
christmas is the family,
christmas is the hussle and the bussle in the towns,
people trying to get the presents that there children want,
christmas is the snow that is covering the gate,
christmas is going down the road on a tray turned in to sleigh,
christmas is leaving sherry, mince pie and carrot for Santa and his friends.
